Microsoft just hold the biggest global launch in Xbox history yesterday, and we hope that everyone who pre-ordered the new console is having a great time with the 70 Xbox One X enhanced games available on launch day. As a reminder, you’ll have update your Xbox One games to enjoy all the graphical enhancements available for the new console, and you’ll see that downloading 4K assets for games such as Halo 5: Guardians and Gears of War 4 (both are approximately 100GB downloads without the 4K updates) will quickly fill the internal 1TB hard drive of your new console.
It’s not clear why Microsoft didn’t ship a Xbox One X with a 2TB hard drive, just like it did with the Xbox One S last year. Fortunately, if you need more storage to install these Xbox One X enhanced titles, Best Buy has some early Black Friday Deals on Western Digital external hard drives which you should probably check out:
New more storage for your Xbox One? How about 4TB for $79.99 ? via @BestBuy https://t.co/DFJjuYaEnp pic.twitter.com/AOb4kOXsMK

The retailer is currently selling a Western Digital 4TB external hard drive for just $79.99 ($120 off), which is a great value. If you need even more storage, a 8TB model is also on sale fo $129.99 ($170 off), and that should be more than enough even for the most hardcore gamers out there. Both models support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps with USB 3.0, if you’re wondering.
Do you think 1TB of storage on the Xbox One X will be enough for the majority, or do you see most customers look for external hard drives at some point? Let us know below.
