Back in October last year, Microsoft launched Windows 11 and later announced that it was ready for broad deployment in May this year. Since then, Microsoft has pumped a ton of updates to the OS, for instance, the Windows 11 2022 Update in a bid to enhance its user experience and get more people to upgrade to it.

According to a survey conducted by Lansweeper, the Windows 11 minimum system requirements is one of the main reason why a lot of organizations have not upgraded to Windows 11. Per the company’s survey, 43% of Microsoft devices still can’t run Windows 11 based on 30 million Windows devices scanned at 60,000 enterprises.

That said, Microsoft released the KB5020683 out-of-band update for Windows 10, version 2004, 20H2, 21H1, 21H2, and 22H2 on November 30. What’s more, the update also features a Windows 11 upgrade option for eligible devices, though it will be available for users once they have installed the OOBE update.

Microsoft further introduced a “Meet Windows 11” video series that is designed to help users that are planning to transition to OS understand how it works as well as the perks it comes with. Be sure to check out Microsoft’s blog for more information on this update and how to install it in your PC.
