Microsoft Teams new store now available in GCCH and DoD

Microsoft has recently unveiled a significant update on its Microsoft 365 roadmap, bringing essential enhancements to its Teams platform for users in the Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) and Department of Defense (DOD) environments.

  • Newly Redesigned Teams Store: Users in GCCH and DOD now have access to a freshly redesigned Teams store, providing an improved experience for managing apps.
  • Personal App Integration: The update enables users to add apps for personal use, expanding the utility of Teams for individual needs.
  • Intelligent Recommendations: Users can benefit from intelligent recommendations, including featured apps and those popular among colleagues, optimizing app discovery.
  • Editorial Articles: The Teams store will now offer editorial articles that address common usage scenarios, aiding users in harnessing the full potential of Teams, particularly in educational contexts.
  • Enhanced App Search: Searching for apps is made faster and easier with updated app categories, streamlining the process of finding the right tools for the job.
  • “Manage Your Apps” Functionality: Users can take control of their app management with the “Manage your apps” feature, allowing them to update, remove, share, or install additional apps as needed.
