Surface 3

Earlier this week, we reported that the Microsoft Surface 3 4G LTE version, following its earlier release in Europe, would be making its way to AT&T. Well now that date has arrived, and the 4G LTE version of Redmond’s svelte tablet/PC hybrid is now available for purchase on contract.

Two versions to offer the SIM capabilities are available, the first having 64GB in internal storage space, the second 128GB. AT&T is not the only option however. LTE enabled Surface 3 models can also be bought through Microsoft Stores, where T-Mobile and AT&T SIM cards are available, and also through T-Mobile, through its @Work channel, as revealed by Microsoft in a blog post.

The Surface 3 is the latest hybrid computing device to emerge from Microsoft. Smaller and less powerful than the Surface Pro 3, it is also a sight less expensive, being a little more tablet than laptop in its design, as opposed to its bigger brother.

Will you be picking up a Surface 3 4G LTE from AT&T? Let us know in the comments below.
