Microsoft Surface 2 4G became available for pre-orders in the UK last month for £539, and was expected to arrive by May 8th. As promised, the device is now up for sale in the UK at the online Microsoft Store, and we’re hoping it would have reached early adopters by now. The 64GB Surface 2 LTE is currently in stock, and is the SIM-free version which means that it will work on any 4G LTE network in the region.
By shelling out £539, you’ll get your hands on a 10.6 inch 1080p display with a quad-core 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 T40 chipset under the hood. You also get 64GB of storage with 200GB free SkyDrive storage for two years, as well as a microSD card slot which supports up to 64GB. The tablet comes with 2GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera for photos and videos with a 3.5MP front-facing camera, and runs Windows RT 8.1 as its operating system.
If you didn’t pre-order one for yourself, you can do it now by heading over to the Microsoft Store right now. If you pre-ordered your tablet last month, let us know via comments if Microsoft delivered it on time.
