At Microsoft Ignite this year, Microsoft will showcase the new SharePoint Server 2016 as well as a great number of SharePoint-related technical sessions to attend. Taking place in Chicago, IL., on May 4-8, 2015, Microsoft Ignite is the Microsoft event of the year that brings IT pros that work with SharePoint on a daily basis with the Microsoft engineers who built SharePoint.
In addition to all of the new Office 365 features and SharePoint news at Microsoft Ignite, there will also be #SharePint where members of the SharePoint community can share a pint or two discussing their favorite SharePoint features. At the big Ignite unveiling of SharePoint Server 2016, there will also be a number of opportunities to connect with SharePoint colleagues through a plethora of SharePoint sessions; onsite and online, so you won’t feel left out of the SharePoint event of the year.
According to past Ignite attendees, SharePoint provides attendees with a great community presence to come together to solve issues and problems experienced by other SharePoint users. Naomi Moneypenny, Ignite speaker and past Sharepoint conference speaker’s experience:
“You start meeting people and making friends, then you find out they have the same problems and issues and you start figuring out how to solve those things. You go to learn about what’s new from Microsoft, and you stay for the community.”
Sounds like it’s a great time to be had for someone interested in sharing their SharePoint knowledge and get answers to their SharePoint issues and concerns. For more information on Ignite registration or the full Ignite session list, follow the links below.
