Microsoft provides best Windows Phone apps to help you get through the New Year

With New Year’s Eve just a couple days away, people around the globe are already preparing to ring in the New Year with their perfect party. For all those party hosts out there, Microsoft prepared a special selection of apps dubbed “Holiday Parties Collection” available to help organize your New Year’s Eve bash.

For those looking to serve the best appetizers, entrees, and desserts of the New Year, Microsoft suggests you use Windows Phone recipe apps like Allrecipes and BigOven, where you can choose from over 300,000 recipes to find the best food to serve at your party. Big Oven also provides you with a grocery list, so you know what ingredients you will need to get. Both Allrecipes and BigOven come with Cortana integration, so you can always ask Cortana what recipe to use if you cannot decide. If you do not have enough money to hire a bartender for your party, you can act as your own with Cocktail Flow, which offers an ever-growing selection of the hottest cocktails to serve to your party guests.

Music is always vital to any successful party and Microsoft has several apps to help you provide your guests with the hottest dance tunes with apps like Xbox Music, Pandora, and Spotify to create the perfect New Year’s Eve music mix. If you think you have the best party going, but it does not seem like you have enough people to have a truly epic party, you can use Swarm to see who is nearby and message your friends what they are missing.

As always, it is important for everyone to be safe this New Year’s Eve, so to make sure everyone gets home safe, you can use everyone’s favorite designated “private driver” Uber, to arrange for a ride home for your guests. Depending on whatever you are planning, Microsoft has plenty of apps to choose from in the Holiday Parties Collection, so you can choose whatever Windows Phone app works for you. Check out all of these apps in the Holiday Parties collection in the Windows Phone Store in the VIA link below.
