The Surface Book is a downright awesome device, but the price might be a bit hefty for some who don’t have big bucks to spare. Luckily, if you’re looking to purchase a Surface Book, and save your wallet from the pain, then you might want to shop now, as Microsoft is offering some big discounts on the device in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia (via TechRadar.)
According to the report, base models of the Surface Book in the UK and the US are seeing a massive price cut, with even bigger cuts in prices for higher end models in Australia. As seen at the Microsoft UK Store, the basic model Core i5 Surface Book with 128 GB of Storage and 8 GB RAM and is now £999 instead of £1,299. Meanwhile, here at the US Microsoft store, the same model now sells for $1,299, which is down from $1,499.
Interestingly, at the Microsoft Store Australia, the Core i7 256GB Surface Book with 8GB of RAM now sells for AU$2,804, which is down from AU$3,299. Similarly, the Core i7 512 GB Surface Book with 16 GB of RAM now goes for AU$3,569 instead of AU$4,199. Lastly, the top of the line Core i7 Surface Book with 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM is going for AU$4,206 instead of AU$4,949.
