The official Microsoft News app updated across all three of its main app platforms today.

On Android, the Microsoft News app update added new functionality that would enhance coverage of the 2020 election that’s heating up right now in the United States.

Here’s the release notes:

With this update, we’ve added support for special coverage for Election 2020. Over the coming days, get access to our in-depth coverage of primaries and caucuses through special feeds and notifications.

On iOS, the Microsoft News app update added new news editions for the Czech Republic, Hungary, and the Marathi, Bengali, and Telugu regions of India.

Here’s the full notes with the details:

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve added new editions – Czech Republic (Czech), Hungary (Hungarian) and more regional editions for India (Marathi, Bengali, Telugu). You can change your edition from the Settings page in the app.

Over on Windows 10, today’s update didn’t add anything as interesting as the iOS and Android updates but it did receive some anonymous stability and accessibility improvements.
