Once you are selected for the 2012 Xbox LIVE Update, Microsoft will push the update to you within the next few days. New features include Internet Explorer for Xbox, Recommendations and ratings, Pinning and favorites, Enhanced category search and discovery features, and Voice search (in specified markets). Microsoft suggests you do not violate the NDA, which you will have to sign in order to participate in the beta, or else you will be removed from the beta and all Xbox betas moving forward. You will also no longer have access to Xbox LIVE until the end of the beta program period.
