Microsoft lists HTC as its partners alongside other manufacturers, HTC Windows Phone launch imminent?

During their press conference at Computex 2015 in Taiwan, Microsoft showcased the list of Windows hardware partners. The list shows most of the usual hardware partners we’ve known, but surprisingly, the Taiwan-based HTC was also listed alongside other Windows manufacturers, as spotted by WindowsCentral. 

The company didn’t mention anything if we’ll see a new handset from the Taiwanese handset maker, but there’s a possibility that we may get to see a handset from HTC in the coming months. 

Earlier this year, some rumors hinted that Microsoft and HTC have partnered to launch a Windows Phone powered HTC One M8 for Windows successor. However, we’ve yet to come across any concrete evidence for the HTC Windows Phone handset.
