Microsoft is investigating undeletable emails issue in Outlook.com

Microsoft has acknowledged an issue with its Outlook.com service causing deleted emails to reappear in the inbox (via Bleeping Computer). The company says that it’s already working on a fix for all affected users, though there’s no ETA yet.

“In the meantime, if the emails being reverted are coming from connected accounts you may be able to go to the Inbox of the originating account and delete the email to workaround the issue. For example, if you have a Gmail connected account, go to Gmail.com and delete the email from there,” Microsoft explained on its Windows Support site.

At this point, it’s hard to know if this undeletable emails issue is affecting many Outlook.com users right now. Also, there’s no workaround available for users with a standard Outlook.com account yet, and they may need to wait until Microsoft deploys a fix.
