“Based on the modern design principles of Windows 8, Bing provides elements like autosuggest, search results, and fluid navigation using tap and swipe. Fast and fluid scrolling through the continuous horizontal list of results with a swipe of your finger is immediately satisfying,” Microsoft states. Image searching is streamlined by displaying a collage of images rather than just one. Bing even has its own search charm that lets you initiate a Bing search from anywhere in the modern Windows experience. Microsoft is merely getting started with the Bing app for Windows 8 and expects additional features to be added to the app by this fall. Check out the source link for more details on this app, as well as an introduction to other apps such as News, Maps, and Sports.
