Earlier this month, the newly-announced Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL were spotted on Zauba, an imports tracking website in India, hinting at their imminent launch in the country. But, now it seems the wait may come to end soon as Microsoft has sent out press invites to the media for their event on April 7th. The invite reads, “Inspiration doesn’t only work 9 to 5” where the company’s B2B and Operator Relations Director Nikhil Mathur will introduce the newest members of the Lumia range.
It shouldn’t be too much of a mystery, the company will launch the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL in the region. There’s no word about the pricing, but we should find that out soon.
Both handsets feature an excellent set of specifications, and yes, they’ll be upgradable to Windows 10 for phones when it becomes officially available later this year.
