Microsoft Flight Simulator updates 5 cities as it plans for 40th Anniversary Edition – onmsft.com

A couple of days ago, Microsoft Flight Simulator introduced a new stylish and sporty design aircraft, the Beechcraft Bonanza V35. And now, for gamescom 2022 Microsoft Flight Simulator has released the new first ever city update. Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator writes in a post on Xbox Wire, that the new city update features five new German cities including Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Cologne, and Bonn, and is now available to Flight Sim users for free on the in-sim marketplace.

In addition, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team revealed the details about the upcoming 40th Anniversary Edition. The team said that the 40th Anniversary edition will feature helicopters and gliders for the first time since 2006, and will release on November 11, 2022, available free for anyone who owns Microsoft Flight Simulator or plays it on Game Pass.

Also, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team confirmed that Sophisticated Airbus A-310 is coming with the new addition, along with a list of new airplanes including Howard Hughes’ famous Spruce Goose along with 6 other famous historical aircraft.
