Microsoft announces the completion of Windows 8, has finally hit RTM - onmsft.com - August 1, 2012

“Today, I am excited to announce that Windows 8 has been released to manufacturing (RTM)!” said Brandon LeBlanc from the Windows Team Blog. The RTM will be available for developers starting on August 15th, and will be available to everyone on October 26th 2012. Now that we’ve been given an official announcement for RTM, does this mean a leak is soon to show itself? If Windows 8 follows in the footsteps of Windows 7, a leak could very much occur soon. For those curious, the official RTM build number is 9200.16384.win8_rtm.120725-1247
