Major global launch events for Xbox One set to take place as Nov 22 nears

Microsoft is set to launch the Xbox One entertainment console in just a few hours, and the company is holding a major global launch event in various cities. Best of all, you are invited and there is a live stream if you can’t make it in person!

“Get ready to party before the party: Major global launch events are slated in the hours leading up to the Xbox One’s release at 12:01 a.m. Nov. 22 around the world, and you are invited. Marquee events are planned in major cities including New York City, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Sao Paulo, Toronto and Sydney,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

In fact, these events will be showcased in a live TV broadcast that will air on Spike TV, Xbox.com, and Xbox Live. The live broadcast begins at 11PM Eastern time/8PM Pacific. You can head over here to watch the live event.

At the New York launch event, Microsoft will bring the world of Xbox One to life – along with special surprises. “The world of Xbox One will come to life as zombies, Roman soldiers and supercars converge on the Best Buy Theater, where awaiting fans will be among the first in America to receive their consoles and countdown to midnight with great games, entertainment and special surprises.”

Microsoft reiterates that over 10,000 retail locations in 13 countries will open their doors at midnight on November 22nd.
