Madden NFL 15 Bundle is the first pre-load game for Xbox One – onmsft.com

Madden nfl 15 bundle is the first pre-load game for xbox one

At Gamecom 2014 last week, Microsoft announced that gamers will be able to pre-order and pre-download new titles ahead of launch. It was expected that Forza Horizon 2 was going to be the first game made available in this way, but it seems that it is actually Madden NFL 15 Bundle.

As noted by Engadget, the pre-loading season has kicked off in a slightly different way to what was expected. Rather than a racing title, the first game to be made available for pre-loading is the latest instalment in the long-running Madden series.

Hand over $59.99 and you can grab yourself a copy of the game ahead of the expected September 26 launch date. Although the game is downloadable, there will be no chance to getting a sneaky play ahead of the official date, as the Xbox Store listing explains:

Xbox one game expected to release on 8/26/2014. You may download the game from Xbox Live before then, but it will not be playable until 12:01 am PDT / 3:01 am ET on the release date.

Downloading before the launch date means that there’s no need to queue up in stores, no need to wait for the mail to arrive, and no need to battle with clogged download servers on the big day. If you’re a football fan, go and get yourself a copy now.
