The popular Lumia Moments app has received a new update from Microsoft, delivering bug fixes and stability improvements.

Lumia Moments is the reincarnation of what was previously called ‘Nokia Cinemagraph’. The app allows users to created ‘Living Images’, essentially short videos that give the impression of an animated still.

With the debut of Lumia Denim back in January however, the app gained new functionality for Lumia 930 and 1520 users, along with the newly updated Lumia Camera app. Using the app, it is possible to record in 4K, before choosing individual 8.1 megapixel stills from the footage recorded. This allows for excellent action shots and also allows for higher definition Living Images.

This latest update simply addresses a number of stability issues and fixes a number of fixes, making the experience of using the app the smoothest that it has ever been, bringing it to version 2015.227.934.3065.
