Lumia Denim rolling out for the Lumia 830 in India

Microsoft is definitely trying to make sure that a majority of its devices are running on the latest version of their mobile operating system before they reveal the upcoming Windows 10 for phones. In their latest move, the company has started rolling out Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim for Lumia 830 users residing in India.

The update is apparently rolling out over-the-air, and should reach all devices in the next few days since the process is gradual. If the update has not arrived for your handset, you can manually check for the update as well.

As far as the new features are concerned, the Lumia Denim update comes with a number of enhancements and new features on board, including the ability to group apps into folders on the Start Screen, alongside plethora of Lumia-exclusive features. Mostly, they are related to the photographic capabilities such as the Lumia Camera 5.0, HDR video recording and more.

Let us know you’ve received the update.
