Lumia 830

Microsoft has scheduled an event on September 4th in Berlin where the company is expected to take the wraps off two highly rumored devices: the Lumia 830 and Lumia 730. We’ve already seen both devices pose for the camera, but today, another set of images of the purported Lumia 830 popped up, giving us the clearest view of the handset.

As you can see, there’s a 10MP PureView Camera on board with a look which resembles to the Lumia 930 — there’s a similar aluminum frame with removable/interchangeable back covers and wireless charging capabilities on board. We’ve heard rumors that it may come with “Nokia by Microsoft” logo, but it turns out those were incorrect.

The device is rumored to launch as a mid-range flagship device, and may not cost as high as the high-end Lumia 930. Yesterday, the same source revealed some of the specifications of the alleged handset, including a 4.5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, and a 10MP PureView camera on board for photos and videos. It’s expected to come with Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system out of the box.

Stay tuned, in less than 24 hours, Microsoft will put an end to all the rumors that are floating all over the internet. In the meantime, head over to the source link for more images.

What do you think about the upcoming Lumia 830, now that we’ve seen the best possible images we can of the alleged handset?
