Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 gets a price cut in India

Indian readers, Microsoft has slashed the price of some of its premium devices, the Lumia 830 and Lumia 930, in India by Rs 7,000. Interested customers will be able to pick up the Lumia 830 for Rs 21,800 while the high-end Lumia 930 is available for Rs. 31,600. The offer will commence today, and is subject to the availability of stock at the retail locations.

Microsoft Lumia 830, the affordable flagship device, packs a 5-inch display boasting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card slot should you ever require more storage. The handset ships with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim, and rocks a 10MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization. As for the Lumia 930, there’s a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable storage, 20MP camera with PureView technology, a 2,420 mAh battery and runs Windows Phone 8.1.
