Lumia 735 finally goes up for sale on Verizon, costs 92 off-contract

After countless number of leaks and rumors, the Lumia 735 is finally available for sale on Verizon. It turns out the rumor which popped up earlier this week was correct, including the pricing details. The Lumia 735 carries a $192 price tag when purchased without a contract. If you’re ready to commit to a two-year contract with the Big Red, you’ll have to pay $79.99. Furthermore, customers interested in the handset can also purchase it on Verizon’s Edge plan for $8 a month.

As a quick recap, the Lumia 735 features a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels with the processing handled by the Snapdragon 400 processor. There’s 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 6.7MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera and ships with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 out of the box, plus Microsoft branding.

To be honest, Verizon is late, as always, in launching the handset which is quite old. There are better alternatives available at the moment, which brings slightly better specifications at an affordable price, such as the Lumia 640 and 640 XL.
