Lumia 830

Earlier today, Lumia 735 went up for pre-orders in the UK, but the handset is coming to more European countries during a similar time frame. Recently, a Portuguese retailer FNAC has started taking pre-orders of the Lumia 735, as well as the mid-range flagship Lumia 830, with an expected shipping on October 3rd.

Microsoft’s Lumia 735 comes with a €249.90, and is available in orange, green and gray color options. As for the Lumia 830, the handset costs a little higher than what was announced at IFA 2014, it’s priced at €399.90, with multiple color options on retail.

The Lumia 735 rocks a 4.7-inch 1280 by 720 display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage with support for up to 128GB. The so-called selfie smartphone has a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera, a 6.7MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 1080p video recording capabilities, 2,200 mAh battery and runs Windows Phone 8.1 Denim update out of the box.

On the other hand, the Lumia 830 has a 5-inch 720p display with 294ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset comes with the same quad-core Snapdragon processor with a 1.2GHz clockspeed and 1GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage on board with microSD card slot for expansion up to 128GB, should you ever need more storage. On the rear, there’s a 10MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 0.9MP front-facing camera, a 2,200 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 Denim.
