Lumia 525 and Lumia 1320 launched in India, comes with 20GB of free SkyDrive storage

The wait is finally over. India now has the Nokia Lumia 525 and Lumia 1320 in its Windows Phone arsenal. We reported yesterday that Nokia was set to hold an event in India on Tuesday, January 7th, and it was rumored that Nokia would launch these two new devices. Well, Nokia did launch these two new devices and they will be available for purchase very soon.

Nokia has launched the Lumia 1320 in India, which features a 6-inch 720p display and a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset. The 1320 also comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage, a 3400mAh battery, and a 5MP rear camera. India recently received the Lumia 1520, a 6-inch 1080p Windows Phone 8 smartphone that features a quad-core processor and a 20-megapixel camera. This device will run for INR 23999 and will be available for purchase starting January 13th, as noted by NokiaViews.com.

On the other hand, Nokia has also launched a lower-end Lumia 525 in India. This device builds off the success of the “world’s most popular Windows Phone device” Lumia 520 and is expected to be available in gloss orange, white, yellow, and matte black. This device features 1GB of RAM, 4-inch IPS LCD display 800×480, dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 5 MP camera, and expandable storage with microSD slot. This device runs for INR 10399 and is available for purchase now.

Nokia is also offering 20GB of free SkyDrive storage to those who pick up a new Lumia 525 or Lumia 1320, and this SkyDrive offer expires February 15th of 2014.
