Microsoft Teams was a big part of Microsoft’s pitch for education yesterday, but there are still plenty of people who aren’t quite sold on using the collaboration program. While it still might not be enough to win everyone over, there’s one more feature that could get people to try out Teams: Integration with Kahoot!, a program for user-made learning games.
Mostly for the use of educators who are trying to make some engaging content for their students, Kahoot! is a strong option for professional development settings, as well. A blog post from the Kahoot! team explained how the game is getting integrated with Microsoft Teams, and how new apps in the Windows Store will let users play and create their own learning games.
The addition of Kahoot! to Microsoft Teams helps to pave a path for other companies who want to get their foot in the door to Microsoft’s collaboration software. We’ll have to wait and see just how much Kahoot! gets adopted among Microsoft Teams users, but it’s going to be great seeing more programs get this kind of integration.
