Latest Microsoft ad highlights how Windows 10 helps run a small business efficiently

Following the release of several promotional videos for its Surface Pro 4 hybrid tablet over the last few months , Microsoft has released a new ad this week that focuses on how Windows 10 helps small businesses achieve more (via Windows Central). The ad features Marshall and Megan Dostals, the owners of a small company manufacturing glycerin soap, lotion, and natural soy candles.

While the video intends to put the emphasis on select Windows 10 features such as pen support, facial recognition through Windows Hello, split-screen apps, and Cortana reminders, Microsoft’s 2-in-1 tablet does have some screen time. The company also published a two-minute version of the video where you can learn more about how the Dostals developed a “zero waste product” by picking up waste oil from restaurants and converting it to glycerin through an interesting industrial process.

“We knew nothing about starting a soap business, it really just sort of happened. With Windows, we’ve been able to transition beautifully,” explains Megan Dostals. Do you think these kind of videos are better than the ones where Microsoft pits its products against competitors such as Apple? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
