Movie on-demand service Cineplex Store has launched a new app on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a Canadian service that offers over 1000 new release and catalog titles from major Hollywood, Canadian and International studios to rent or buy. The service seems to be only available in Canada as of today, and Canadian users will need to have a Cinexplex Store account to use the app.

The Cineplex Store app allow users to rent or buy movies directly from their console, and it is also integrated with Kinect to control playback with the wave of a hand or through voice commands. Furthermore, every purchase or movie rental will grant users SCENE points, which is a Canadian Entertainment rewards program, to purchase or rent movies on Cineplex Store. Lastly, the app should feature exclusive deals for Xbox users.

To download the app, log in to your Xbox Live account on your Xbox 360 or Xbox One and then browse or search for the Cineplex Store app on the Xbox Store. If you live in Canada, let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to use this app on your Xbox.
