Kazam Thunder 340W Unboxing and First Impressions (video)

Representing over 95% of the Windows Phone market, it can be easy to forget that, at this late stage, there are still a few OEMs churning out devices that do not bear the Lumia moniker. Kazam, a British smartphone manufacturer, is one of a small subset of stragglers that are still starting to make it in this space.

And here we have one of the fruits of their efforts, pitched at the bottom of the range, the Thunder 340W. Sporting a 480×800 pixel, 4 inch screen, a 1500 mAh battery, dual-SIM slots, a Micro-SD card slot, a quad-core Snapdragon 200, 512MB of RAM, a VGA selfie camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera, the device certainly has decent specs given its low price (£75). Yet, with similarly priced Lumia devices coming with better specifications, does it do quite enough to justify its existence?

Watch the video below to learn a little more about the device, and stay tuned for our full review later this week.

Does the Kazam Thunder 340W tempt you? Let us know in the comments below.

We would like to thank Clove Technologies for providing our review unit, if you would like to purchase your own Kazam Thunder 340W from Clove Technologies, you can do so here.
