Are you a Windows Insider? Passionate about all things Microsoft? Have experience in blog post writing or are willing to learn? onmsft.com is looking for writers knowledgeable about Microsoft, the Windows Insider program, and everything from Azure to Visual Studio. Must be 18 years old, able to work 4-5 days a week (weekdays) for four hour shifts somewhere between 6am and 2pm (we think in Redmond time, PST/ PDT, GMT -7 or -8). Hours / days can be flexible, but we expect you to be ready to work.

You’ll also be expected to be online during your shift hours, accept and complete writing assignments, provide proper attribution but write in your own words and your own style, take direction well, and contribute to the site. Social media savvy is required, as is a positive attitude, willingness to work with others, and above all else a passion for all things Microsoft.

Also required: a good internet connection, a Windows 10 machine (or two or three), and a good comprehension of Windows and Microsoft products. A good camera and graphics skills are a plus, too.

Daily writing requires commitment, and you’ll not only be required to know your stuff, but be able to write about it day after day, story after story.
Pay is dependent on traffic, and can be a good source of supplemental income, although we wouldn’t consider it a “full time job.”

If you’re interested, email [email protected] and include your name, location, age (just verify you’re over 18), writing experience, interests, and tell us why you’ll make us proud. (Yes, this is a test on how well you follow directions!).

We can’t respond to every email, but we’re looking to fill some immediate openings, so if you have what it takes, you’ll hear back from us soon.
