– Thirteen dedicated Cloud Hubs in key consumer and business population centres
– Exceptional network density
– Access to large community of hosters, service providers and enterprises
– Integrated Cloud Test Lab environment

Interxion, a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, has launched 13 dedicated Cloud Hubs in strategically located data centres in 11 countries across Europe. The move provides cloud service providers and enterprise customers with a turnkey infrastructure solution for cloud service development and launch, and leverages Interxion’s position as the most geographically widespread, best-connected data centre operator in Europe. Interxion operates 28 data centres in 11 European countries, and houses a large community of cloud-related hosting and service providers, as well as 350 carriers and ISPs and 18 leading European Internet Exchanges.

With more and more applications moving into the cloud, the Cloud Hub offer is designed to provide seamless power, space and bandwidth scalability for cloud-based applications, as well as low-latency connectivity to end users. In an Interxion Cloud Hub, both service providers operating their own cloud platforms and enterprises building private clouds can colocate their equipment in close proximity to leading public cloud and content delivery networks, interconnecting with them to deliver the best possible end-user experience.

In addition to physical infrastructure and connectivity, Interxion’s Cloud Hubs will provide secure Test Lab environments in which customers can develop, test and launch new services, and access a large and growing community of cloud-related service providers who can add value to each other through interconnection and collaboration.

For customers requiring multi-site colocation in Europe, Interxion provides a single Service Level Agreement, which applies across its entire footprint, supported by the European Customer Service Centre, a multi-lingual, single-point-of-contact Network Operations Centre. All of Interxion’s facilities have been independently assessed and accredited to both the ISO27001 standard for information security management systems and the BS25999 standard for business continuity.

“Connectivity, reliability, reach and scalability are core considerations for cloud providers, and all are elements of our core business. Due to our scale we can also pass on reduced cost of ownership,” said Kevin Dean, Interxion CMO. “Our Cloud Hubs bring together all of these benefits and add the potential for easy development and testing of services, plus profitable collaboration with our large and growing community of hosters, enterprises and service providers while providing pan European coverage.”
