ID@Xbox introduces 18 new indie games

The annual Game Developer Conference is coming up, and ahead of the moment, Microsoft is announcing 18 new ID@ Xbox titles will be coming soon. The new titles come from a variety of genres and seem to be pretty promising. We’ve highlighted some of the most interesting titles below, but you can check out the full list here.

Apocalypse Cow (Monsters)

A girl, a rapper who can’t rhyme and a redhead enter a bar. The music stops. “Have you seen a giant robotic cow?” the girl asks politely and OMG SHE’S KILLING THEM! Wait, they were ready to talk, WAAAAIT! Explosions, regrets and time bending in a broken digital world; this is Apocalypse Cow, a cinematic arcade adventure that redefines storytelling for platformers.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin (BUKA Entertainment Enterprises & Sobaka Studio)

The true rebirth of iconic brawler genre in vein of old-school video games! As a simple Chinese fisherman Wei Cheng you have to avenge the death of your friends and family slaughtered in a pirate raid at your peaceful village. So get your trusty battle staff ready for a challenging adventure in Medieval China and for merciless fights with hordes of various enemies.

Thief of Thieves (Rival Games)

Based on the best-selling comic by Robert Kirkman, Thief of Thieves: Season One is a story of heists and the people behind them. It’s time for Celia, protege of master thief Redmond, to make the leap from apprentice to master. A new continent and a new team, will you make the cut?

As a reminder, Microsoft has cut the price on some of the best ID@Xbox Puzzle games. You can check out that sale here.
