For those of you who have been eagerly waiting for a Hulu app for your Windows Phone handset, have no fear. Microsoft has announced today the immediate availability of Hulu Plus.

For those who are not familiar with Hulu Plus, it is a service that offers unlimited instant streaming of current hit TV shows and movies. The app is free and you have the option of purchasing a paid subscription for $8 a month.

“The app provides all the conveniences of the Hulu service – like ad-free kids shows and popular grown-up offerings like Community, Family Guy and Modern Family – with some nice Windows Phone design touches,” Microsoft explains.

The app features the modern design principles that we have come to love and features a clean and easy to navigate user interface. The app has a ton of features, including 15 minute clips if you need some quick entertainment and Live tiles for your home screen so you don’t miss anything.
