Htc one m8 for windows

Not too long ago, Verizon and HTC unveiled the HTC One M8 for Windows which is exclusive to the Big Red, at least for now. AT&T has already confirmed the handset will land on the carrier in the coming months, and it appears the HTC One M8 will also land in other global markets as well.

The folks at Neowin, citing their sources at one of the UK’s leading independent phone retailers, mentioned the device will land in the UK in the fourth quarter. The handset could launch in other markets before the UK, but it should come as a good news for those who are waiting for the handset.

HTC One M8 for Windows comes with a beautiful metal-clad design, rocking a 5-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, there’s a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. As for the photographic capabilities, the device comes with a 4MP UltraPixel camera with a depth sensor, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. On the software side, it runs Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 out of the box.

We’ll keep an eye on the news, and update you as soon as the handset makes its way to other global markets.
