The Xbox One video game, Hitman, will be getting an update on January 31st which will add support for HDR when played on the new Xbox One S and the upcoming high-spec console currently nicknamed, Project Scorpio.
The update will be completely free and owners of the game simply need to connect their Xbox One to the internet, if it isn’t already, to download it.
HITMAN will support HDR from January 31st on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One S and PC.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It basically balances the colors, shadows, and highlights to enhance the quality of an image without needing to increase the overall resolution. The Xbox One S currently supports this new image format however an HDR-support television set is also needed to properly appreciate the visual improvements.
