  • Starfield (September 6)
  • Lies of P (September 19th)
  • Party Animals (September 20th)
  • Payday 3 (September 21st)
  • Cocoon (September 29th)

Next month is set to be huge for Xbox Game Pass on the strength of Starfield alone. With Bethesda’s much-anticipated open world(s) sci-fi action RPG landing on September 6 as a day one Game Pass title, it might be easy to forget that there are some other big games also headed to the service soon.

At the time of this writing there are five games already confirmed for Game Pass in September. See the list with release dates below.

Starfield (September 6)

In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.

Lies of P (September 19th)

Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

Party Animals (September 20th)

Fight your friends as puppies, kittens and other fuzzy creatures in PARTY ANIMALS! Paw it out with your friends both online and offline. Interact with the world under our realistic physics engine. Did I mention PUPPIES?

Payday 3 (September 21st)

PAYDAY 3 is the much anticipated sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters ever. Since its release, PAYDAY-players have been reveling in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist. That’s what makes PAYDAY a high-octane, co-op FPS experience without equal.

Cocoon (September 29th)

From Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of LIMBO and INSIDE — COCOON takes you on an adventure across worlds within worlds. Master world-leaping mechanics and solve intricate puzzles to unravel a cosmic mystery.

No doubt more Game Pass announcements will follow regarding September releases. And for that matter, August if far from done with Everspace 2 coming on the 15th, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre on the 18th, and Sea of Stars on the 29th. And don’t forget that four games will be leaving Game Pass on the 15th.
