Halo: The Master Chief Collection owners can activate Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta starting today

For owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection today might be a moment of redemption. The only way to get in on the awesome action of Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer beta that starts in a few hours (9AM PST/12PM EST) is to own Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Owners of The Master Chief Collection can pre-load Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer beta so they can start playing it the moment it goes live. With any luck, Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer beta should launch with no problems and will be available through January 18th, 2015.

Downloading the Halo 5 Multiplayer beta content is easy. From the main menu of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, make your way over to the Extras Menu and choose the “Halo 5 MP Beta option.” Make sure you have enough space on your hard drive as the beta is a 10.26 GB download. Once Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer beta starts, you will be able to jump right into Matchmaking. Hopefully, in the next few weeks, different game types and maps will be released.
