Today, Xbox released the trailer for Halo The Fall of Reach on YouTube. The Fall of Reach traces the origin of the Master Chief and the Spartan program in this animated series of Halo’s folklore. Taken as children and subjected to a grueling military training program, the Spartans were designed to be the ultimate protectors of Earth and its citizens. The Spartans are put to the test when the Covenant arrive and the Spartans are Earth’s only hope for survival.
Halo The Fall of Reach animated series is based on the successful book of the same name by Eric Nylund. The Fall of Reach provides a prequel to the events in Halo Combat Evolved and gives gamers a more in-depth look at the Halo story that is not explored further in any of the other Halo games. Halo The Fall of Reach is only available in Halo 5: Guardians Limited and Digital Deluxe Editions and will be available October 27, 2015, exclusively on Xbox One.
