“In the next few days we’re releasing an update to your YouTube experience on Google TV making it faster and easier to find great content, adding YouTube channel pages, and giving you more control over your experience,” Google stated in an official blog post.

This new update adds speed improvements as well as better navigation and a new feature called Discover, which lets you browse YouTube channels by categories. The app now features new channel pages that allows you to navigate through your favorite playlists and videos and allow you to subscribe with a simple click. Users can also see related videos and more videos from the same user.

The update is available via the Android market.
