Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands on Xbox One is free to play this weekend for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Ghost Recon Wildlands is the latest installment in the Tom Clancy series of video games, following Rainbox Six Siege and The Division. Yesterday, Ghost Recon Highlands received a free update, Title Update 8, introducing a new 4-v-4 Ghost War game mode. Take a look this video of what’s included in the Ghost War update.

In addition to game bug fixes and performance enhancements, Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War mode features 8 new maps, and 12 new player classes. The full Ghost War patch notes are available here. The Ghost War patch will be available for Windows 10 PC tomorrow, October 12, 2017.

Starting October 12 (until October 15, 2017), Xbox Live Gold subscribers can play Ghost Recon Wildlands for free on Xbox One. During the Xbox free-to-play weekend, Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available to buy for $29.99 (50% off) until October 23, 2017. Ghost Recon Wildlands is available for Windows PC through Steam or Uplay, Ubisoft’s online game community.
