We didn’t hear much about Sea of Thieves during E3 2019 as the Anniversary Edition came out last month, but the pirate game is having an interesting crossover with Halo, one of Microsoft’s most popular gaming IPs. For a limited time, you can earn the free Spartan Ship Set with beautiful Halo-themed sails and an amazing Master Chief figurehead.

We’re proud to unveil the @Halo-inspired Spartan Ship Set, made in partnership with our friends at 343 Industries. Earn it by battling in The Arena on the E3 show floor OR by playing #SeaOfThieves at any time between now and 23:59 BST on Saturday! pic.twitter.com/GOrjvzmBzc

You can get the free Halo-inspired Spartan Ship Set by playing Sea of Thieves between now and 23:59 BST on Saturday. You can play either Adventure or The Arena to qualify, and the free items will be added to your account within 72 hours of your first play session.

This is definitely an interesting crossover for Sea of Thieves, though this is not the first we’re seeing the Halo franchise make an appearance in other Microsoft games. Last year, Microsoft created a Halo-themed race in Forza Horizon 4 where you can drive a Warthog with Cortana serving as a co-pilot.

Would you like Microsoft to do more crossovers like these in its first-party games? Let us know below.
