Games with Gold for June 2014 includes two free games for Xbox One

The Xbox team is celebrating the first anniversary of Xbox Live Gold. As part of the celebrations, Xbox One users with a Gold subscription will also be able to enjoy the free games. Furthermore, Xbox One will get a bonus game this June.

To sum things up, Xbox Live Gold Subscribers are getting 5 free games. Starting with the Xbox One with the Xbox Live Gold subscription, the free games that are coming your way are Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.

Typically priced at $14.99, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a game about the character Max who is on a mission to save his brother. The other title for this month is Halo: Spartan Assault, which usually costs $9.99. The timeline of the game is set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Xbox 360 owners will also be getting the action role-playing title Dark Souls (original price: $19.99), which will be available from June 1-15, whereas, other titles Charlie Murder (original price: $9.99) and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, will run from June 16 through to the 30th of the month. Super Street Fighter is the bonus game Xbox 360 users are getting this month, and the title usually sells at $29.99.
