Free app for Windows Phone 8 lets you stream the May 21st next-gen Xbox reveal – onmsft.com

Unable to watch tomorrow’s (May 21st) big next-gen Xbox reveal? Have no fear! Microsoft has released an official app for Windows Phone 8 that lets you stream tomorrows Xbox Next event and you can watch it right on your handset!

While we are not sure how the video quality will be or how the app will respond, the idea behind the app is excellent. If you are unable to watch the live stream on your computer, you can watch the event on your handset as you are out and about. Hit the download link below to snag the app for free! Unfortunately, this app is not available for Windows Phone 7 users.

The live-stream of the Xbox event will take place on May 21st at 1PM Eastern Time, 10AM Pacific Time. Microsoft will reveal the next-gen Xbox during this event held at the Microsoft Campus in redmond. Microsoft will eventually showcase the full lineup of games as well as the console during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June of 2013.
