For those of you who are heavy Facebook users on Windows Phone 8, there is finally some great news. The official Facebook app for Windows Phone 8 has now been updated to version 4.1 and features improvements to the applications speed. There really isn’t any new features aside from performance improvements. This update seems to be only available for Windows Phone 8 and not users who are on Windows Phone 7.
This update is trickling out slowly and is available in the UK Windows Phone Marketplace and we expect it to be seen in the US Windows Phone Marketplace in no time. It seems that this update is only for Windows Phone 8 and those who are running Windows Phone 7 or 7.5 will not be able to experience the speed improvements found in this app. Hit the download link below to grab it.
