Microsoft has released a new Edge Dev build, bumping it to 110.0.1587.11. The update unpacks several added features among them is the added capability that allows the browser to notify the user when an external program alters your start page and search engine settings without your knowledge.

What’s more, the update also features a Personalize my top sites in customize sidebar option in the Sidebar setting as well as a Search bar in the Customize sidebar that is in place to help users add sites easily. Moreover, you can now import passwords CSV file and hide duplicates in History.

As for iOS users, the update adds a new feature that allows them to block ads with a long press. Furthermore, they can now select and read using Read aloud. It is worth noting that this update is not accessible to Mac users just yet.

The update also features a ton of reliability fixes as well as policy updates be sure to check them out over at Microsoft’s blog post. In related news, Microsoft released another Edge Dev build earlier this month to fix the missing Start menu entries caused by the Defender issue. Moreover, the company has resolved the PDF printing issue with printer names containing CJK characters that users on the Stable build 109 might have been experiencing with a patch release.

As usual, the update should roll out to users automatically, however, if this is not the case, you can trigger the update manually by visiting Edge’s Settings menu, then click on Help and Feedback, select About Microsoft Edge, and then wait for the browser to download the update.
