E3 2014: platinum games's scalebound to be xbox exclusive, ori and the blind forest to hit the console soon

Platinum Games has announced their next gaming title called Scalebound. The action game will be an Xbox One exclusive according to Hideki Kamiya, the company’s director of games announced during Microsoft’s E3 2014 press briefing.

While we have no word on the release date for Scalebound, Kamiya did say that it will offer “action at a whole new scale”. The game involves a soldier accompanied by a massive dragon who are fighting with several other dragons. Scalebound transports you to a distant, hostile world. You’ll come face to face with fearsome creatures, including a formidable dragon — and the bond you forge with this awesome predator will prove crucial to the survival of both worlds.

In addition, Moon Studios announced that it will be bringing Ori and the Blind Forest to Xbox One. Moon Studios is an indie game developer, and from the trailer of their title, the game looks pretty spectacular. It also features some amazing music.

“Venture with Ori, a young orphan destined for heroics, in this action-packed adventure for Xbox One and PC. Play through an amazingly beautiful and emotional journey as you help Ori save his dying forest of Nibel,” Microsoft explained.
