Dozens of new indie developers join ID@Xbox program

Microsoft’s [email protected] program has been welcomed by game developers large and small for making it easier to produce games for the platform. Back in December we were introduced to the first batch of developers to get on board and today Microsoft reveals the names of dozen more independents who have decided to join the growing list.

In just a couple of month, the number of developers involved in [email protected] has swelled to over 200. Chris Charla, Director of [email protected], is impressed by what he sees: “Honestly when I look at this list, all I can say is “wow.”… We could not be more excited!”

You can check out a list of some of the developers who have signed up at Xbox Wire.

Writing on his own blog, Major Nelson explained that there is not long to wait until the program’s first batch of games becomes available: “The first [email protected] games are in certification now, so stay tuned for more news on when you’ll get to start enjoying these titles.”

Are there any games or developers that you have your eye on?
