Despicable Me: Minion Rush for Windows Phone 8 to receive exciting updates in May

Despicable Me: Minion Rush’s Windows Phone 8 app will soon receive an exciting update. The development team announced that the app will receive new features and content this May. Even better, the team says it will be seeding out many more updates this summer.

The new features will include the much anticipated Anti-Villain League environment and the Moon mini-game. Both these features have been available on game’s Android and iOS app for a while. “May 2014 will bring you new features and content including the Anti-Villain League environment and the Moon mini-game!”, the team wrote on its Facebook page.

We have reached out to the developers for more information.

Update: Gameloft has clarified that the May update will arrive on both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.

Update 2: The new update will have Downtown and Mall locations.

Thanks Aaditya Menon for the tip!
