Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC will reportedly release on June 8

It looks like we may be getting Cyberpunk 2077‘s first—and only—DLC very soon if the latest “leaks” are on point.

The leak in question comes via the Rock and Boris podcast. In a recent episode of the Polish podcast the hosts claimed that the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC expansion would arrive on June 8. The podcast has accurately leaked CD Projekt Red-related info in the past, so this leak shouldn’t be quickly dismissed.

Phantom Liberty will feature Idris Elba as FIA agent Solomon Reed, and will be set in an all-new district of Night City. The DLC will be available for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC versions of Cyberpunk 2077.

To be clear, there has been no official word from CD Projeckt Red regarding a release date for the expansion, though it has stated in a Tweet that it will be ready to share more info soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to achieve some level of redemption with gamers following a disastrous launch back in December 2020. The game has sold over 20 million copies and even won The Steam Awards Labor of Love award for “Most improved game” last year.
