CES 2014: HP unveils Z1G2 all-in-one workstation Windows 8.1 PC

We’ve seen a plethora of new PC announcements during CES 2014 in Vegas today from various companies. HP, no to be outdone, has unveiled their new 27-inch all-in-one workstation Windows 8.1 PC called the “Z1G2.” Lets dive into the details and take a look at what this beast features.

“Today at CES HP showcased the second generation of the world’s first all-in-one workstation. This device builds on the success of the first-generation HP Z1, to include a 27-inch diagonal touchscreen display, lots of power, and a myriad of other features that make this device a real workhorse capable of running the most graphic-intensive and demanding programs,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

The Z1G2 features a 27-inch diagonal touchscreen display, which is being touted as ideal for interacting with 3D models, maps, or other programs requiring touch. The PC can also recline to a position that is the most comfortable for you.

The device also features an Intel 4th generation Xenon and Core processors under the hood, along with an Nvidia Mobile Quadro GPU for excellent gaming performance. The device also features Thunderbolt 2.0 technology, which is touted as being four times faster than USB 3.0.

This device ships later this month.
